Kindergarten Registration Expo & Great Start Readiness Roundup
mARCH 4, 2017
10 AM - 3 PM
bEDFORD JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA, 8405 jACKMAN ROAD, TEMPERANCE, MI
- On Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 10 am - 3 pm, the cafeteria at the Bedford Junior High School (located at 8405 Jackman Road, Temperance, MI) will be transformed into a playland for members of the Class of 2030! It is the day of the Bedford Public Schools' Kindergarten Registration Expo and Great Start Readiness Program Roundup. Families are invited to stop by to register their children for Kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year.
ONE STOP SHOPPING CONVENIENCE FOR PARENTS...
It is a one stop shopping event for the parents to take care of all of the registration details. They can also talk to the teachers, learn about community education programs and latchkey, speak to the district nurse about the vaccinations necessary to start school, and schedule a June screening appointment to assist in classroom placement.
...FUN FOR KIDS!
But it is also fun for the kids. The kindergarten teachers pack up fun things from their classrooms to entertain the youngsters as their parents take care of registering. There will be crafts and toys. The school mascots will all be there. A favorite activity is to catch a ride on the school bus as it makes periodic trips throughout the day. Snacks are provided, too.
A FREEBIE AND A CHANCE TO WIN!
Once the kindergarten registration process is successfully completed, each of the newest members of the Bedford family gets a free t-shirt proudly proclaiming them a Kindergartner! An added bonus, completed registrations qualify the family for entry into a drawing for an iPad Mini. Kindergarten registrations must be successfully completed by April 7, 2017 to enter.
