Assistance Available for Bedford Families

Bedford Public Schools is pleased to provide community assistance information for the benefit of our students and families.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

As part of a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) program, BPS will continue to provide meals to children, ages 18 and under, at no cost to the families for the 2020-21 school year. This program will include district students as well as any other children living in the community age 18 and under. A drive thru pick up service will be offered.

SPECIAL THANKSGIVING FOOD SERVICE UPDATE

pumpkin pieCome to Curbside Pick-Up Monday, November 23rd and get a *Bonus Pumpkin Pie!* One pie per family will be provided, while supplies last.

We will not be passing out meals during Thanksgiving break 11/25-11/27. You will receive meals for 7 days on Monday, 11/23. Our next scheduled pick up date will be Monday, November 30th.

MEAL PICK UP DAYS:
Monday and Thursday
(Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for 7 full days)
 
PICK UP LOCATIONS:
1) Bedford High School Cafeteria
2) Monroe Road Elementary Cafeteria
3) District bus will distribute meals at Northtowne Meadows at the clubhouse: 2-2:30 pm.
4) District bus will distribute meals at Inverness Community at
  -- Preswick and Andrews: 1:15-1:30 pm
  -- Highlands and Glasgow: 1:30-1:45 pm.
 
PICK UP TIMES: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm unless otherwise noted.
 
Please call the Food Service Director, Meaghan Eckler, at 734-850-6127, with any questions about this program or if your child has any special dietary needs.
