Mrs. Field's Sale until 10/16; cookiesMrs. Field's Fundraiser

We are excited to kick off our Mrs. Fields fundraiser this week! Together we will be raising money for School Improvements, PBIS & School Events. We are asking each student to sell at least 5 items to help us reach our goal of $35,000.

Selling begins this Monday 10/2 through Monday 10/16. Completed order forms and payment can be returned to your student's teacher, and must be turned in by close of school day on Monday 10/16.

Within the next couple days, every student will be bringing home their fundraising packet. Be sure to check your child's home folders for the fundraiser flyer & brochure. If each student could sell at least 5 items, we would reach our goal!

You can also order items online, to do so register your child on or after 10/2/23 through the online store to start selling. This way you can invite your friends and family to order online and that will help us reach our goal faster!

MEET THE NEW MRE LEADERSHIP TEAM!

deanna klinePrincipal: Mrs. Deanna Kline

I am honored and proud to have been chosen as Monroe Road Elementary's new principal. You may have seen me around as I am a Bedford graduate and an MRE and BJHS mom. If we haven't met already, I look forward to meeting you and your child/ren in August.

I will begin my 19th year in education after spending 15.5 years in the classroom as a 3rd grade teacher, exploratory for K-4th grades and I spent many years in the 1st grade classroom at Mason Central Elementary. The last 2.5 years I was the proud assistant principal at Douglas Road Elementary and now I am the very proud principal of Monroe Road Elementary! You can count on me to support and advocate for our students while upholding the traditions of Monroe Road Elementary that we all hold so dear to our hearts. My vision for students at MRE is that they will experience a safe and inclusive environment where their needs are met academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. Students and their parents can expect challenging academia, high behavior expectations and a plethora of opportunities for community and family events in order to make their elementary experience exceptional.

Nicole MackeAssistant Principal: Mrs. Nikki Macke

I have had the pleasure to serve as a fifth grade teacher in this building alongside my dedicated and passionate teaching partner, Mrs. Stanley since opening day in 2001. Although choosing to take a leap forward at an opportunity of next step leadership was a hard decision, as this meant leaving the comfort of my classroom, I am confident that I will continue to serve others in the new platform that I've been given. I am looking forward to joining Mrs. Kline in continuing the contribution to the unique culture of our MRE family.

Thank you ALL in advance for your support, patience, understanding, and encouragement of smiles and hugs to help make this transition a successful one. I am eager and excited for what lies ahead for MRE!
